POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Manager (FM) - is an individual that has been selected according to a proven track record of providing excellent service quality and customer satisfaction. The Facility Manager is responsible for the organization and coordination of production and fabrication at his given facility. The FM is responsible for the financial health of the location by controlling cost and optimizing revenue income. The FM is also responsible for planning for operations, oversight of safe operations, service and equipment quality and customer satisfaction. The Facility Manager should offer an effective and efficient operation while maintaining and adhering to the standards and the policies of the company. He should encourage and support his team in an effort towards a common goal and diligently work to achieve that goal. They are strong, creative decision makers with excellent planning skills, and are charismatic leaders with effective communication skills, both oral and written. They can motivate and mentor staff using effective listening and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production/Operations o FM will be held accountable for the overall quality of the product and services with which GVT delivers o Ensure timely delivery of all products and services to our customers. o Adheres to the policies, standards, processes and procedures set in place to optimize and to increase the quality of the products we manufacture. o Responsible for confirming that his team is adhering to and complying with Company policies standards, processes and procedures. Finance o Is responsible for the oversight of the financial health of the operation by reducing cost and optimizing revenue income. o Applies appropriate reviews or audits for contracts, bids or project deliverables, personnel training and mentoring, company procedures and policies, and coordination of facility support functions. o Searches for ways to reduce daily cost while maintaining an elevated level of service quality and customer satisfaction o Has oversight of the invoicing processes to ensure that there are no delays in invoicing. o Stays up to date on the cost associated with the operation. o Manages quotes by approving, participation in pricing, participation in identifying contract type and terms and ensuring customer satisfaction. o Works with Chief Operating Officer to identify opportunities, create strategies and implement plans for the organization. QHSE o Is responsible for oversight of the Quality and Safety of the organization and its future opportunities for improvement. o Promotes a visible Quality and HSE commitment and implements company policies and procedures in conjunction with the QHSE Coordinator and Corporate Level Director of QHSE. o Obtains customer feedback through direct contact, service quality meetings and effective communication with the sales functions. o Will work hand in hand with the QHSE Coordinator to complete investigation and ensure that the corrective action plan is targeted and completed in a timely manner.
▪ Will ensure that all resources and tools necessary to facilitate the implementation of the corrective action plan are made available. Facility o Will work together with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Manager and Shop Foremen to ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
▪ Make decisions and plan facility projects to ensure that costs are properly managed throughout the year. Personnel o Allocates manpower, assesses staffing needs and hires new personnel.
▪ Discusses Staffing needs with COO to ensure that the operation is where it needs to be. o Promotes teamwork within the operation, other districts and the whole company. o Will complete disciplinary process with individuals and ensure that documentation of all disciplinary action is kept and recorded.
▪ Upon completion of the disciplinary process the Facility Manager will be responsible to terminate employees if deemed necessary. Training and Development o Able to offer coaching and training where needed to expedite the individual development of employees within the operation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Prefer four-year degree from accredited university; however, job work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. High School diploma is mandatory. Minimum five years' experience in a relevant domain and ten years in management positions. Excellent communications skills in English. Valid U.S. driver's license. Benefits Pay DOE.
