Skilled Nursing Facility Salary:
$150,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department at our skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes. Join a well-established skilled nursing facility with strong clinical systems, an experienced leadership team, and a commitment to quality resident care. The Director of Nursing will oversee nursing operations, support department leaders, and help drive continued clinical excellence throughout the organization. Responsibilities Direct the overall operations of the Nursing Department Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures Ensure accurate nursing documentation and conduct routine chart audits Oversee regulatory compliance and quality initiatives Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff and department leaders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote excellent resident outcomes Qualifications Active RN license required Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership experience preferred Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Commitment to quality care and regulatory excellence Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for: Health insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Professional development and continuing education opportunities We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where leaders are empowered to make a meaningful impact on resident care, staff success, and overall facility performance.
