Assists in overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility guidelines. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions
  • Supports the management of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.
  • Assists in coordinating the activities of maintenance staff and contractors for timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitors facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment, for proper functioning.
  • Maintains records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with hospital departments to address facility-related needs and resolve issues.
  • Participates in facility inspections and audits to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Assists in budgeting and procurement of supplies and services for facility operations.
  • Supports the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Education Associate's degree Facilities preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in facilities management or maintenance 2-3 years required and Experience in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance and operations of building systems.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and contractors.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to hospital operations.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting related to facilities operations.
  • Problem-solving skills to address facility issues promptly and effectively.
