Position Overview The Director of Facilities & Operations will serve as a key leader ensuring the seamless operation of both facilities management and broader operational systems. They will be responsible for overseeing campus maintenance, safety, and physical infrastructure while also managing key operational functions such as logistics, campus services, and operational planning. The role will report directly to the Head of School and will collaborate closely with other departments, ensuring the operational backbone supports student life, academics, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Oversight:

Ensure the maintenance, safety, and improvement of campus facilities, including vendor management and capital projects.

Operational Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day operational systems, including logistics, campus services, and emergency planning.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage operational and facilities budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Compliance & Risk:

Ensure compliance with safety, building, and operational regulations while identifying and mitigating risks.

Team Leadership:

Lead and develop operations and facilities teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (preferred) in business, operations, facilities management, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, operations leadership, or related fields. Demonstrated experience managing teams and projects in both facilities and operations contexts. Experience in educational, nonprofit, or campus-based environments is a plus.
