Join Our Leadership Team! Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking an experienced and strategic Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, security, and operational excellence of our corporate headquarters and branch network. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring our facilities provide a safe, professional, and efficient environment for both members and employees while supporting the Credit Union's continued growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities management, vendor and project management, workplace safety, and building operations, along with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep of all KCCU facilities. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for buildings, grounds, and building systems. Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, and other critical building systems. Manage facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects from planning through completion. Build and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, architects, and consultants while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and oversee facility emergency preparedness, business continuity, and security initiatives. Coordinate office space planning, workplace enhancements, furniture, and departmental moves to support a productive work environment. Partner with Information Technology to support conference room technology, audio visual systems, and collaboration tools. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic facility planning, branch growth, and organizational initiatives.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven years of progressively responsible facilities management experience. Experience managing commercial office buildings, multi-site facilities, or financial institution facilities preferred. Demonstrated experience managing capital projects, vendor relationships, and facility budgets. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, and building systems. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, project management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or facilities management software; experience with AV systems, energy management software, or facility management platforms is a plus. Why Join KCCU?
