DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES

Operations

Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Facilities department who oversee installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and water distribution. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

Management

Ensure that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction. Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to budgets and ensuringpliance to departmental budget initiatives. s budget concerns / deviations to the Executive Management / GM.

Quality Assurance

Oversees EVS, responsible for all cleaning activities, including hallways, offices, dining and gaming areas, rest rooms, stairways, elevators/escalators, windows, parking lots, sidewalks and other exterior areas. (include only if oversees EVS at your property). Oversees all sanitation processes and procedures including rodent and pest control. Acts as a liaison between Architects, Designers, Subcontractors, building officials and Executive Management on internal engineering projects.

Maintenance

Inspectspleted work for conformance to blues, specifications and quality standards. Directs landscaping activities as required. (exclude if Facilities does not handle this at your property). Develops plans to meet and serve expanding facility needs. Responsible for aspects of OSHApliance at the facility.

Compliance

Responsible for aspects of OSHApliance at the facility. Responsible for ensuring thepliance with all regulatorypliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in electrical or mechanical engineering (or related field) from four year college or university; five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalentbination of education and experience.

Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Carpentry trades, along with knowledge of generators, fire pumps, and electrical switchgears; trade license is preferred.

Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,mon fractions, and decimals. Ability topute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to read, analyze, and interpretmon scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
