Lansing, Michigan, United States Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Operations Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Lansing, Michigan. Overview The role involves overseeing all aspects of property management, maintenance, and record keeping. The site manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the facility, managing a team, and coordinating various operational activities across large environments. Responsibilities Acts as the primary liaison with the client, coordinating staff, financials, and vendors for successful building operations
Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and site inspections
Respond positively and promptly to requests from the client and occupants
Ensure documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time
Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems
Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies Qualifications Bachelor's degree required
8-10 years related experience required
Familiar with building systems, documentation, and administration
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one's time
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
