We are currently seeking an Inventory/Packaging Specialist who will ensure smooth, compliant inventory control and efficient packaging operations within our facility. Position Summary The Inventory/Packaging Specialist is responsible for tracking all cannabis materials through each stage of the processing lifecycle, ensuring compliance with state-mandated Metrc tracking , and supporting the packaging of products to meet sales deadlines and regulatory standards. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Full time preferred. Hours are flexible with the opportunity for overtime and weekends if desired. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update product records using the Metrc seed-to-sale tracking system Accurately log and track inventory movements, weights, and product types Perform daily inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner Assist in the preparation, labeling, and packaging of cannabis products according to SOPs and state regulations Ensure products are labeled accurately with all required compliance information Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and secure packaging and storage area Assist in compiling compliance reports and audits as needed Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of cannabis materials Identify and communicate any inventory issues or supply shortages Follow strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and compliance protocols at all times Required Qualifications Good math skills with the ability to perform calculations, conversions, and data entry accurately Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written Keen attention to detail , especially when recording product weights, batch numbers, and label data Strong organizational and time management skills Comfortable working in a regulated environment with repetitive tasks Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher is a plus) Preferred Qualifications Prior packaging or inventory experience in a cannabis manufacturing facility Familiarity with cannabis product types, weights, and terminology Experience with compliance labeling , quality control, and batch tracking Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic inventory software What We Offer Competitive pay with advancement opportunities Supportive work environment Employee discounts on products On-the-job training and career development Experience based hourly wage
