Over the past four years, Renovation Church has grown from a church of 500 to over 3,000 people and moving to multiple locations in the north metro of Minnesota. Renovation Church is a Bible-believing church affiliated with Converge. About the role We recently moved into a brand new 45,000 square foot church building, and our church has grown in attendance from 500 to over 3,000 people in just the past few years. We are looking to hire an on-call Facilities Associate to keep our building clean and operating well. General expectations would be on-call support 2-4 times a month; each call in would average a 4-5 hour shift. What you'll do Assist with cleaning, inspection, and other custodial care services for the building by following the church's cleaning and sanitation rules and procedure Support maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment throughout church facilities Organize room set-up for meetings and events Maintain building furnishings, equipment, and operations Perform minor repairs and maintenance as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions Must complete a background check Skills and Abilities Detail-oriented and thorough Ability to work independently after instruction Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance Ability to keep the church clean and orderly Ability to interact with staff, congregation, volunteers, and visitors at church while remaining professional, polite, and courteous Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
