What you will do(including but not limited to): Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and facilities improvementsBasic repairs and maintenance of facilities systems including pipes, pumps, lights, HVAC, minor plumbing needs, minor electrical needs, and minor structural repairsFacility cleaning and ensuring overall facility cleanliness- sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, vacuuming, etc. Adhering to strict sanitation practices throughout the facilitySubmit and manage facilities maintenance tickets in computer systemAct as point person for all maintenance tickets at site(Otsego Greenhouses)Maintain adequate spare parts and tool inventoriesCoordinate on-site service by third party companiesOwn the facility, keep it in good running order in accordance with company needs What impact you'll make: Skilled in the use of power tools and common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenchesAbility to perform equipment and machine maintenanceKnowledge of basic computer and office equipment operationsExcellent attendance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail.

Must be over 21 years of age. Physical Demands Must be able to spend extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs for a distance of 100ft. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.

Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects. Work Environment The job is performed indoors and outdoors. Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold environments for extended periods of time with exposure to dust, allergens, and water. Appropriate PPE will be provided. Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping and bending. Twisting in tight areas may also be required at times.
