Job Description

The City of Prior Lake is accepting applications for a Building Maintenance Coordinator. The Building Maintenance Coordinator performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of City buildings. This position coordinates the day-to-day upkeep of City facilities, performs preventative maintenance and repairs, responds to urgent building situations, and ensures compliance with safety standards. This position ensures that City buildings are operational, safe, and well-maintained to meet the needs of City staff and the public. Requirements include high school diploma/GED; vocational training in project management, facilities, HVAC or related field; five years of general maintenance experience in the areas of facility maintenance or project management; three years of skilled mechanical experience including but not limited to HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and boiler operation, maintenance and repair work is preferred.
