This position serves as the primary point of contact for all facility-related inquiries and is responsible for event coordination, access control, and building systems management. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. Personal Responsibilities Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in God's Word and engaging in the personal study of God's Word. Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4). Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20). Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9). Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-7 & 9:12). Become a member of Abundant Life. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Event & Building Use Coordination Review and approve facility reservation requests. Collaborate with staff to input and maintain accurate event details in the Event Management System (EMS). Communicate building usage guidelines, facilities support expectations, and regulatory compliance requirements. Coordinate with facilities technicians to ensure event setups are executed per request. Assist with scheduling vendors and identifying potential issues to support the facilities team. Manage scheduling, billing, and logistics for building use, including member, community, and strategic partnership events. Access Control & Security Serve as the SME for access control systems. Schedule access control and maintain door timer schedules. Create and issue key fobs for staff and volunteers. Work with departments to establish and maintain volunteer access schedules. Conduct regular audits of access control systems, including schedules, door access, and issued fobs. Facilities Operations & Support Act as the main point of contact for all facilities-related inquiries. Maintain knowledge of all building-related systems to effectively support facilities operations. Manage contracts renewals to ensure compliance. Assist in identifying and addressing potential operational issues. Support onboarding of new employees and offboarding of exiting employees by preparing access credentials, orienting them to building systems, and ensuring proper account deactivation. Communication & Documentation Communicate clearly with staff during team meetings regarding facilities operations and updates. Edit, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to facilities and access control. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications This position operates in a fast-paced, professional office environment and routinely uses office equipment such as phones, copiers, and other standard equipment. Typing, proofreading, and computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Office) are required, along with the ability to handle precise detail in relation to administrative tasks. Must have a heart for ministry and exhibit the patience, tact, respect, empathy, and courtesy required to be the "face" of Abundant Life to the outside community.
