This role is vital in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment that supports our manufacturing and industrial activities. The Facilities Manager will lead maintenance teams, coordinate repairs, and implement systems to optimize facility performance while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations. Duties Manage daily operations of the facility's maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical systems, low and high voltage equipment, and industrial machinery Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track asset history, and optimize maintenance workflows Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment Conduct inspections of mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure system integrity Coordinate with project teams on facility upgrades or modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and asset management for continuous improvement Skills Strong management skills with experience supervising maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge of facilities management practices including HVAC systems, electrical wiring (low voltage/high voltage), mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance procedures Proficiency with schematics, technical diagrams, and control systems related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance work Excellent project management abilities to oversee upgrades or repairs from planning through execution Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently Leadership qualities to motivate team members while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence in a fast-paced setting Fluency in English with clear communication skills for reporting and collaboration This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our facility's performance while developing your expertise in facilities management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
