Job Description

Responsible for directing and managing Maintenance, Property Management, Clinical Engineering and construction projects. Responsibilities are based upon hospital goals, policies, and plans in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as Joint Commission standards. Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work/education experience. Prefer to be licensed and certified in two or more of the following areas or have an equivalent work experience with a minimum five (5) years' experience: Electrician; Telecommunications; Plumbing; CFC certified; Heating, ventilating and cooling (HVAC); Bio-medical equipment; Project Management. Background and/or education in Business or Healthcare Management. Demonstrated project management skills and abilities. Leadership and communication skills. Sound judgment in fulfilling position duties and responsibilities. Initiative, creativity and demonstrated ability to manage personnel and functions. Minimum three years' experience in healthcare or plant management environment.
