This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who knows building systems, can direct a team of in-house technicians, and can manage outside vendors from bid through completion. You'll be on the move between properties most days — this is not a desk job, though basic computer skills are essential. What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activity across 16 commercial office buildings Assign and direct daily work for in-house maintenance technicians Identify maintenance and repair needs through regular property walks and inspections Solicit and compile vendor bids for review by the Property Administrator and Regional Property Manager Manage vendor work from start to finish — quality, timeliness, and scope Schedule and prioritize work orders across multiple properties Maintain accurate records of work performed, vendor activity, and property conditions Respond to maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolution Communicate status and escalate issues to the Regional Property Manager as needed What You Bring Proven experience in facilities, building, or commercial property maintenance Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and general repair Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance staff and coordinate vendors Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a multi-property environment Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel between properties Ability to walk properties, inspect systems, and perform hands-on tasks as needed Nice to Have Experience with Yardi Voyager Prior experience managing maintenance across a multi-building commercial portfolio Relevant trade certifications or licenses
