Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Coordinator of Emergency Action Plan and emergency responses including risk assessments, SOPs, maps, signage, evacuation plans, sheltering, lock downs, harsh weather events, workplace violence, terrorism, natural hazards, property conservation, etc. Manages contractors and team members responsible for building, grounds, interior spaces, furnishings, fixtures and non-production equipment for normal maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy efficiency. Responsible for Building cost center approvals both expense and capitalized. Responsible for lead work structure and task for assigned Facilities apprentices. Manages and reviews service contracts. Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures. Ensures safe and adequate quality of work for all vendors and contractors. Selects, develops, and evaluates prospective contractor personnel to ensure efficient completion of the contracted need. Evaluates bids, materials, punch lists, warranties, change order costs and additional time requests from vendors and/or contractors with a critical eye to ensure quality and the project comes in on time and within budget.
