Full Job Description Description:
North Ridge Country Club is a private country club providing our members with premium club amenities. The Facilities Manager is dedicated to keeping the Club operating safely and efficiently, from HVAC systems and plumbing to electrical systems, swimming pools, and general building maintenance. The Facilities Manager works under the direction of the Clubhouse Manager and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service to our members and staff. The Facilities & Maintenance team supports the Club's operations seven days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring our members and staff have a safe, well-maintained, and fully operational facility. Duties/Responsibilities Maintain effective preventive maintenance programs. Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. Complete general repairs and maintenance in a timely manner. Perform tasks related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Coach Facilities team and cultivate a positive work environment Schedule team to ensure continuous coverage during Club operating hours. Manage purchases required for facilities and maintenance using the Club's purchasing guidelines. Ensure all purchases are complete and paperwork is submitted with invoices Schedule and assign work as necessary according to the priority of the task and ability of maintenance staff Maintain effective training program to ensure that all maintenance workers are properly equipped to execute their jobs Ensure OSHA procedures are followed and maintenance team is knowledgeable in these requirements. Coordinate with the grounds maintenance team to assist with outdoor projects. Maintain pool surfaces and chemical levels. Respond to urgent facility matters, either by phone or in person, utilizing your team when necessary. Manage independent contractors while performing work on site, ensuring work is complete and meets scope.
Requirements:
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. General knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required within 90 days of hire. EPA Section 608 HVAC Certification preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the Club campus. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform work at varying heights when necessary. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
