Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing and Facilities Assistant to support our production environment and maintain our facility operations. As part of the maintenance team, your primary responsibility is to actively contribute to the daily maintenance and enhancement of the facility. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the manufacturing plant remains in optimal condition, facilitating both productivity and safety. Your focus will be on implementing organizational changes and layout improvements, which are aimed at improving overall efficiency, cleanliness, and flow of operations. Duties Ensure that the manufacturing plant is consistently clean and well-maintained Clean floors, machines, workstations, and common areas following proper procedures and safety guidelines Conduct daily walk-through audits of work areas, inspecting for any issues or opportunities for improvement Identifying potential hazards, inefficiencies, or areas that can benefit from organization and layout changes Placing and relocating of small manufacturing tools, office equipment, and supplies to optimize workflows and enhance overall productivity Support maintenance efforts as needed Maintain clear communication with team members Qualifications and Education Punctuality, dependability, and a willingness to learn. High school diploma or equivalent education. Background in maintenance or related field.

From $17.50 per hour
