Part-Time Facilities Associate

Facilities Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understands the mission of the school and promote the Augustinian values of VERITAS (Truth), UNITAS (Unity) and CARITAS (Love) . Support for the school's Inclusion Initiative. Maintain school ground and building in top condition. Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects. Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning activities as well as an inventory of supplies and equipment. Inspect school plant to ensure appropriate cleanliness. Report health and safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Perform daily custodial and groundskeeping work as assigned. This including working indoors and outdoors.

Essential Skills :

Basic knowledge of basic maintenance. Basic plumbing skills such as opening clogged drains. Knowledge of appropriate use and application of chemicals and cleaning solvents. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through with minimal supervision. Be flexible and energetic.

Physical Requirements:

Requires prolonged sitting or standing. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. Requires stopping, knelling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching. Requires climbing and balancing. Must work indoors and outdoors year-round. Must work in noisy and crowded environments. Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors. Must be able to drive a mechanical vehicle. Must be able to work in high places.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
