We specialize in providing vital support to adults with disabilities, and we have an exciting opportunity for the position outlined below: The Transportation/Facility Assistant Supervisor plays a crucial role in our organization by overseeing our transportation services. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, conducting regular maintenance checks, and supervising the team of drivers who provide essential transportation for our Consumers. Additionally, this position involves maintaining the building and surrounding grounds to guarantee that all facility equipment remains in excellent working condition. You will contribute to our agency's safety management efforts and ensure that all scheduled production work is completed on time. The role also requires driving passenger vans as well as agency trucks, which involves loading and unloading goods for subcontracted jobs when necessary. This is a full-time position with dual shifts: from 6:45 am to 12:00 pm, and 1:45 pm to 4:30 pm. After a probationary period of 90 days, employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance. We also provide an HSA account and a 403b retirement plan. To qualify, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a social services context, ideally in a transportation and supervisory capacity. A valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. A high school diploma or GED is required.
