Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Manages the Occupancy staff in day-to-day activities, sets priorities for work and capital projects; promotes safe work practices. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs Maintain accurate repair and preventative maintenance documentation; ensure quality of repairs, Occupancy Help Desk and Map Con recordkeeping. Manages contracted work projects; review invoices and obtain estimates from contractors/vendors ensure scope of work is within contracted/budgetary guidelines. Prepares annual Occupancy Department capital project list for approval by Director of EHS & Facilities; recommends the purchase of new equipment as needed. Manage Occupancy Annual Budget Assists management and Facility Leads with recruiting, selecting and training Occupancy staff Open to Piscataway or Bensalem locations.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
High School and/or Vocational School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years experience in the skilled trades with progressive facility maintenance supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards; ability to operate forklifts, aerial work platforms and other equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and other position related software.
