About Tyrolian Village Association Tyrolian Village Association (TVA) is a residential community located in Incline Village, Nevada. The Association maintains roads, common areas, utilities infrastructure, snow removal operations, and community amenities for its members. We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Facilities Operations Manager to oversee year-round maintenance and seasonal snow operations. Position Summary The Facilities Operations Manager is a salaried leadership role responsible for overseeing all maintenance, snow removal, common area upkeep, contractor coordination, equipment management, and enforcement support for the Association. The Facilities Operations Manager reports directly to the Association Manager and works closely with the Board of Directors.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$60,000
  • 72,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
Performance Bonus:
Up to 5% of annual base salary upon successful completion of contract term
Medical Reimbursement:
Up to $650 per month toward employee-secured health insurance
Paid Holidays:
7 per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
Holiday Pay:
1.5x hourly equivalent for hours worked on a holiday
Vacation:
80 hours per contract year (accrued monthly)
Sick Leave:
40 hours per contract year (accrued monthly) Position is exempt from FSLA overtime and minimum wage regulations Work Schedule Normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM

67 hours per semi-monthly period Winter maximum target of 110 hours per semi-monthly period for safety Electronic time tracking required Key Responsibilities Snow Removal Operations Coordinate all snow removal activities and follow Association Snow Policy Monitor weather conditions overnight and weekends during storms Operate loaders and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain all equipment needed for snow removal. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Shovel as needed Hire, train, and supervise additional snow removal operators Maintain sand and fuel inventories Install and remove seasonal snow markers Manage vehicle obstructions and coordinate towing when necessary Ensure roads, hydrants, dumpsters, and mail areas remain accessible Maintenance & Grounds Maintain roads, drainage systems, and culverts Oversee landscaping, irrigation, mowing, weeding Maintain defensible space schedule Maintain parking and fire lanes Maintain tennis courts and related equipment Perform routine and preventative maintenance on loaders, trucks, and power tools, with professional assistance as necessary Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records Supervision & Administration Supervise part-time and contract personnel Approve and submit timecards Observe and document contractor performance Submit weekly activity reports and upcoming work plans Attend Board meetings as requested Maintain professional relationships with local agencies and suppliers Community Support & Enforcement Assist in enforcing Association Rules & CC&Rs by documenting and notifying the Managing Agent Monitor parking compliance and road safety Address trash violations and dumpster management Provide assistance to emergency services as needed Qualifications Valid driver's license (commercial not required) Strong mechanical aptitude Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, plows, trucks) Supervisory experience preferred Ability to work outdoors in extreme winter conditions Strong communication and documentation skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/sit for long periods of time
