Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Makes decision of discipline performance improvement, and termination, subject to the review of the site manager Facilities Manager and Human Resources. Direct and manage daily activities of all janitorial employees. Promotes quality Janitorial initiatives by conducting inspections; gaining feedback from meetings and identifying and correcting root-causes; enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service issues. Ensure that all work performed under his/her Management is done in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with applicable codes. Manage periodic janitorial schedules and procedures Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. Manages Inventories supplies and equipment. Investigates and implements new and improved cleaning instruments and methods. Manages Special Projects and other related duties as requested and needed like buffing, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, brushing floors. Contributes with day-to-day operations Manages weekly deep cleaning schedule and provides documentation of work performed Aids with payroll when needed Assists supervisors during their assigned shifts to allow supervisors to help janitorial agents.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods. Must be able to work in cramped or high places. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs. Must be able to work in the elements; including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, high temperatures.
