The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing and supervising both departments, fostering a team-driven and guest-oriented culture. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in facilities management, capable of ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of our community's physical environment. Duties Lead and supervise the maintenance and housekeeping teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and safety protocols to ensure the facility remains in optimal condition. Oversee daily operations related to building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that promotes guest satisfaction and employee engagement. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repairs, renovations, and special projects as needed. Monitor departmental budgets, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and address issues proactively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety incidents, and operational reports. Requirements Minimum of four years' supervisory experience in facilities management within senior living communities or related industries such as hospitality or healthcare facilities management. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to foster a guest-oriented culture while maintaining operational excellence. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external vendors. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
