We are a 65-year-old premier, well-established wholesale distributor. We are seeking a Warehouse and Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. The Warehouse and Facilities Operations Manager performs a dual role for the company. It oversees the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient processing and distribution of goods. The role also manages building and grounds maintenance, cleanliness, compliance, and operating costs to support employees and business needs. Warehouse - This role requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Develop and implement streamlined warehouse processes to improve productivity and accuracy. Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff while enforcing safety requirements and company policies. Partner with other departments to improve supply chain performance and resolve logistics issues. Facilities - This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and safety of our buildings and grounds. Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, office housekeeping, and landscaping. Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers. Prepare and manage facility budgets Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct routine inspections and administer preventive maintenance programs. Serve as the primary contact for facility-related audits. Respond to facility emergencies and after-hours issues as needed. Maintain permits, documentation, and service records. Evaluate team performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED required; College degree preferred.
Industry Experience:
5+ years of experience in Facilities and Warehouse management Good understanding of intra-department functions and Operations Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices. Familiarity with OSHA, local building codes, and safety regulations. Experience managing vendors and service contracts Solid budgeting and project management skills Strong problem-solving and communication skills Organizational skills
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
