Healthcare Provider Certification Full Job Description Job Functions:
Prepares admission and discharge paperwork for residents to and from the hospital/community. Completes the admission process with new residents and orients them to environment. Assisting physicians during medical rounds. Evaluating resident status, notifying nurse managers of significant changes. Conducting quality rounds to evaluate the quality of care delivered by unit staff, resident/family satisfaction with care, and compliance with policies and procedures (safety, infection control, etc.) Monitors to ensure continual compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Prepares requested and/or required report for compliance including periodic nursing reports. Communicating accurate, up to date information Delegating tasks and assignments on a regular basis Providing performance-related feedback Checking work outputs for quality and timeliness on a regular basis. Providing clinical supervision as required. Addresses resident/family concerns and/or complaints Always ensures safety of environment and residents Serves as a resource for all unit staff. Arranges for delivery of care, including educating unit staff on each resident care plan. Provides professional nursing care to unit residents; includes initial assessments, ongoing nursing care and treatments, and functional assessments. Monitors resident vital signs and medical status. Oversees coordination of all ongoing basis with other involved disciplines. Educates residents/families regarding health issues. Monitors supply/equipment usage. Encourages prudent use of supplies and educate staff regarding cost effective usage when necessary. Report to DON any potential deviations from established budget. Maintain and develop work related knowledge and skills through continuous learning activities, attendance at in services and workshops, etc. Completes special projects/task in support of effective department functioning as assigned by supervisor.Education:

2 years supervisory/management experience. 2 years of acute care experiencePreferred:
