POSITION DESCRIPTION
Perform a variety of routine manual tasks, requiring medium to heavy physical effort to clean & maintain campus buildings. Specific cleaning tasks may include but are not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, floor care, glass and surface cleaning, bathroom cleaning and disinfection, and trash and recycling collection. Additional tasks may include moving furniture and equipment, assisting with grounds maintenance, special event set ups and tear downs. Perform a variety of routine building maintenance tasks such as unclogging toilets and sinks and changing light bulbs and tubes. May be required to transport custodial supplies and equipment to various locations and may be responsible for other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties assigned. Must possess and maintain a valid New York State Driver's License.
OPERATIONAL NEEDS
Must be available to work Monday
This is a full time position based on a 40 hour workweek. May be required to work overtime based on operational needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
