Senior Facility Specialist PBE Net Bowling Green, OH Job Details $60,000 - $65,000 a year 2 days ago Qualifications Managing projects Productivity software Process improvement planning Cross-functional collaboration Technical Proficiency Cross-functional communication Full Job Description The Senior Facility Specialist is responsible for the execution, optimization, and continuous improvement of the facility preventative maintenance (PM) program and related systems across PBE facilities. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient facility operations, while providing technical expertise, vendor coordination, and support to facility team members. •Key Areas of Responsibility •1. Preventative Maintenance Program Management Administers and continuously improves the facility PM program, ensuring alignment with operational needs under direction of the Facilities Supervisor Plans, schedules, and tracks PM activities within the eMaint system to maximize equipment reliability Investigates equipment failures, conducts root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions Develops and maintains PM documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and standardized PM packages Partners with Maintenance/TPM to maintain accurate asset records and ensure PM coverage for all facility equipment Evaluates PM effectiveness and recommends improvements to optimize performance and reduce downtime 2. Facility Operations & Technical Support Performs and supports preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and basic facility repairs Ensures accurate documentation of maintenance activities and findings Identifies trends, analyzes data, and recommends improvements to facility operations and equipment reliability Ensures necessary tools, materials, and resources are available to support facility work execution 3. Vendor & Contractor Coordination Solicits and reviews bids, provides recommendations to the Facilities Supervisor, and monitors work quality, progress, and completion. Verifies completed contractor/vendor work for Facilities Supervisor review and approval, including any related invoices, purchase orders, or spending commitments. Ensures contractor onboarding and annual safety/environmental compliance requirements are completed before work begins. Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor work aligns with operational priorities, safety expectations, and approved scope of work. 4. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborates with Maintenance, TPM, and other functional teams to improve facility systems and processes Identifies operational constraints and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability (Specialist expectation) Uses data and analysis to support decision-making and prioritize improvement opportunities Supports continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals 5. Team Support & Knowledge Sharing Provides technical guidance and support to Facility Technicians and Custodians (without direct supervisory authority) Assists in onboarding and training of team members on PM processes and systems Acts as a subject matter resource for facility systems, procedures, and best practices Serves as a backup resource to the Facilities Supervisor, as needed 6. Safety, Compliance & Documentation Ensures compliance with safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements Supports and reinforces a strong culture of safety across facility operations Maintains accurate documentation, reports, and records related to facility operations and maintenance Contributes to the development and maintenance of facility procedures and safety documentation Minimum Qualifications Experience in facility maintenance, manufacturing, or a related technical environment Demonstrated ability to manage programs, analyze data, and improve processes (aligned to Specialist level) Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., eMaint) Preferred Qualifications - Technical training or education in building maintenance or related field Knowledge of facility systems and equipment Experience supporting continuous improvement or TPM initiatives Project management experience or certification preferred Join a Team That Changes Lives
