Health Insurance, Retirement, Life Insurance, PTO Job Summary The Facility Coordinator oversees maintenance, repairs, contractor coordination, equipment organization, facility planning, and building volunteer teams across all campuses to keep church properties safe, functional, and well maintained. Roles & Responsibilities Oversees campus maintenance operations, determining whether work should be completed in-house or coordinated through outside contractors for building systems, grounds, preventative maintenance, HVAC, security and fire protection systems, electrical, plumbing, painting, parking lots, doors, windows, lawns, and landscaping. Plans, schedules, and evaluates preventative maintenance activities to support long-term facility care and operational readiness. Manages tools, equipment, and material inventory systems to ensure resources are organized, maintained, and available for campus needs. Builds, equips, schedules, and manages volunteer teams to support facility needs across campuses. Develops and maintains capital furniture, fixtures, and equipment replacement schedules to support budgeting and long-term planning. Develops and manages schedules for regular space updates, prioritizing projects based on campus needs, budget, and ministry impact. Develops, monitors, and manages the maintenance budget, including planning for recurring needs, repairs, supplies, and replacement priorities. Coordinates janitorial support needs and addresses facility readiness concerns as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to create, follow, and improve procedures, schedules, checklists, and tracking systems. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate clearly with staff, vendors, volunteers, and ministry leaders. Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple facility needs, projects, and schedules across campuses. Experience coordinating vendors, volunteers, staff, service teams, projects, or operational processes preferred. Basic budgeting, purchasing, inventory, supply management, or administrative tracking experience preferred. Facilities, maintenance, construction, trade, or related experience preferred; equivalent experience in operations, project coordination, volunteer coordination, or administrative systems may be considered. Reliable transportation required for travel between campuses. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-high school technical training, trade school, apprenticeship, or related certification preferred. Ability and willingness to learn building systems, maintenance processes, facility operations, and safety procedures. Practical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, repair, or facility operations preferred. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, safety, or related technical certifications preferred.
