Job Description

Join our Top Places to Work health and human services Agency, which has provided world-class services for the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in Northeast Ohio for 150 years. We have an immediate opening for a
PART-TIME
(20-25 hours/weekly) Facilities & Operations Coordinator. This role supports day-to-day operations for Agency-owned vehicles and a variety of facilities. This position requires office-based administrative functions related to facilities and operations.
Pay Rate:
Starting at $22/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages work orders, tracks completion, and follow-up with internal departments and vendors. Maintains accurate facility records, contracts, invoices and service documentation. Monitors facility supplies, equipment, and inventory. Assists with office moves, space planning, events, and facility projects. Transports Agency vehicles for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Maintains exterior areas, including sidewalks, entrances, parking areas and landscaping as needed. Assists with maintaining safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance requirements, Assists with maintaining safety records including internal drills and inspections, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), shredding records, and insurance. Supports workplace safety, emergency preparedness and compliance requirements. Conducts routine facility inspections and identifies maintenance and safety concerns. Processes invoices and assists with facility-related budgets and purchasing. Monitors vehicle availability, utilization, mileage, fuel consumption, and operating costs. Maintains accurate fleet records, including maintenance, mileage, fuel, insurance, and accident documentation. Demonstrates awareness of and follows all safety policies and procedures, adheres to all recommended safe work practices. Also contributes to the control of hazards in specified areas of responsibility. Supports sustainability, energy-efficiency, and waste-reduction initiatives where applicable. Performs other duties or projects as required or assigned.
Education, Experience, Licences & Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED Must have a minimum of two years' expereince in facilities, operations, maintenance, property management, or a related field of work Experience with work orders, vendors, and ticketing systems is a plus Maintains a valid Ohio Driver's License, ongoing auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic understanding of facility and vehicle maintenance. Ability to work in an environment with clients with limited verbal skills and /or physical disabilities. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving. Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity in working in an office setting. Must be able to lift and move items that weigh up to 50 pounds. Ability to push, pull, bend, and twist. Ability to work with tools and ladders safely.
