Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic Grounds & Facilities Attendant to maintain and enhance the outdoor and indoor environments of our facility. The Grounds & Facilities Attendant supports the overall cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of the hotel, with a focus on outdoor areas and general property upkeep. This role assists maintenance and front office teams by ensuring exterior spaces and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and back-of-house spaces. Oversee cleanliness and upkeep of parking lots, including trash removal and hazard identification. Maintain outdoor seating areas, patios, and walkways to ensure a clean and inviting appearance. Support upkeep of outdoor entertainment spaces, including setup, breakdown, and general maintenance. Respond promptly to guest and staff requests. (e.g., delivering items, setting up rollaway beds, cribs) Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling in accordance with hotel standards. Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs, pressure wash) as assigned. Set up and break down meeting rooms or event spaces when needed. Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized condition. Monitor exterior areas for safety concerns and report issues promptly. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to General Manager. Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager. Monitor property constantly for unauthorized persons and report immediately to General Manager or Front Desk. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hotel, custodial, or groundskeeping experience a plus, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays are a must. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods . Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching Must be comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
