Equine Facility Manager Confidential East Greenville, PA Job Details Full-time $800 a week 14 hours ago Qualifications Horse care Removing debris Floor cleaning Outdoor work experience Clean workspace maintenance Equine experience Full Job Description Equestrian Facility is looking for a Working Barn/Facilities Manager Currently looking for a full-time person to work in many aspects of our equestrian facility. Our facility is 50 acres, 34 stalls, a newly built 80' x 200' indoor arena with synthetic fiber/sand mix, and a 100' x 200' outdoor sand arena. We have jump courses set year-round. This job is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and involves physical labor. Our ideal candidate would be a confident self-starter looking to become a part of a team that prides themselves on the care of the horse and the facility first and foremost. Daily duties include but are not limited to: Fill hay bags in all stalls Turn out horses AM and PM Sweep/clean aisles in Upper and Lower Barns, also sweep and organize all other tack and common area rooms Maintain tack room water buckets and dehumidifiers Dump muck tubs in Upper and Lower Barns and maintain cleanliness Horse laundry for Upper and Lower Barns Maintain horse stall cleanliness during the day, including pony paddocks Scrub and re-fill pasture water buckets as needed Drag both indoor and outdoor arenas (we can instruct how to do this) Rake/sweep both entrances to Upper and Lower Barns Maintain manure pickup for aisles and parking lot areas Trash out from all cans on property Cleaning of horse stalls will be required on certain days
Schedule:
Full Time is 5-6 days a week, we do prefer consecutive days. Weekends may be needed. The schedule can be somewhat flexible but is a full-time position. Please note this is a working position, not a riding position and various jobs at the facility may change according to need and seasons. Starting salary is $800 per week and depending on experience and after a 90-day period will be reviewed. An opportunity to have a horse at the facility could be available as well.
