Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.

Job Description
Manage and oversee all contractor projects, major construction projects, and capital expenditure (CapEx) initiatives.
Own and manage the full facility maintenance budget, including forecasting, variance reporting, and cost control. Lead the hiring, development, evaluation, and performance management of the maintenance team. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems. Own and maintain all assets within MaintainX, including asset records, work history, and system integrity. Partner with the National team on equipment procurement, installation, and facility improvement initiatives. Ensure all work areas meet safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve facility efficiency. Serve as the primary escalation point for facility breakdowns after hours, on weekends, and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven experience managing contractors, construction projects, and capital expenditures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance. Project management experience is required. Education Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of work and education experience accepted. Experience 7-10 years of facilities management experience, preferably in agriculture, biotech, cannabis, or regulated manufacturing. Demonstrated experience managing contractors and major capital projects. Experience with CMMS/work order systems (MaintainX preferred). Working Conditions This person may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals, and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement required throughout the shift.
Frequently ascends/descends a ladder and uses scissor lift to inspect/maintain equipment.
Occasionally works in outside conditions including exposure to inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Occasional lifting, positioning, or moving items up to 100 pounds.
