Job Description

Maintenance Coordinator West Chester / Kennett Square Area, PA Competitive Compensation + Benefits We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to oversee general building maintenance and facility operations across multiple office and apartment properties. This role is responsible for coordinating and performing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, cleaning, and groundskeeping activities while ensuring properties remain safe, clean, and professionally maintained.
Responsibilities include:
General building maintenance and repairs Office moves, furnishing, and setup coordination Apartment turnover support and tenant showings Groundskeeping, trash cleanup, landscaping, and snow removal Monitoring cleaning services and building appearance Handling security systems, keypad entry, lighting, and alarm checks Painting, minor carpentry, furniture assembly, and upkeep of common areas Coordinating inspections, vendors, contractors, and maintenance projects Maintaining emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and related compliance activities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 4+ years of maintenance or facilities experience Strong organizational and communication skills Self-starter able to work independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Professional demeanor with tenants, vendors, and staff This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined maintenance professional looking for a stable long-term role supporting a well-established organization.
