The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical leadership, mental health counseling, and patient care, with a strong commitment to advancing quality treatment and fostering a collaborative team environment. As Clinical Director, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive innovative approaches to patient-centered care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families through expert guidance and strategic leadership. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight for all mental health programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and ICD coding. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary clinical staff. Oversee patient assessment processes, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention. Coordinate intake procedures for new patients, ensuring thorough documentation of medical records and accurate medical terminology usage. Lead crisis management efforts, including crisis intervention and PTSD care, to ensure immediate response to urgent situations. Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure as required by state regulations. Active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey. Certified/approved to supervise clinicians for licensure Minimum [3-5] years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience Extensive experience in behavioral health settings with demonstrated expertise in patient care. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques including motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA along with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health services. Ability to handle sensitive situations effectively through crisis management skills while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
