Full Job Description Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Director of Security & Facility Safety provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for all physical security operations, remote surveillance systems, drone surveillance units, and emergency response protocols across our portfolio. This role ensures the protection of personnel, properties, and digital/physical assets while enforcing strict compliance with safety regulations and institutional governance standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive physical and technical security frameworks across all operational sectors and district hubs. Direct the deployment and integration of remote surveillance technologies, technical support staff, and unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) operations. Manage security personnel recruitment, advanced tactical/technical training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Establish emergency response, crisis management, and incident reporting protocols in coordination with municipal authorities and executive leadership. Oversee safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance with institutional insurance and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Security Administration, or related field (military or law enforcement leadership background strongly preferred). Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate security management, institutional safety, or tactical operations. Advanced knowledge of electronic security systems, CCTV architecture, and UAV operations.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Crisis leadership, strategic risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and excellent cross-functional communication.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
