Company Description Jack Schreder & Associates (JSA), founded in 1981, is an established educational consulting firm with a proven record of providing school districts with comprehensive, multi-criteria analysis to support informed planning decisions for school facilities. Our work includes completion of State funding applications and Developer Fee Justification Studies. JSA has secured over $2.5 billion in State School Facility Program funding for school districts throughout California. Role Description Jack Schreder & Associates is seeking a Facilities Planner to support K-12 California school districts with facilities planning, capital projects, School Facility Program (SFP) funding applications, and development analysis. Responsibilities Serve as an SFP consultant for school districts throughout California Establish and update new construction and modernization eligibility Prepare and track funding applications through the California School Facility Program (SFP) Track expenditure report deadlines and assist with required reporting Coordinate with State agencies, project managers, architects, and contractors on school construction and capitol projects Assist with hardship funding applications and other State facility programs Assist with Developer Fee Justification Studies Travel to districts for meetings and board presentations Qualifications Three or more years of experience working with the School Facility Program (SFP) Experience working with school districts and State agencies What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and education Hybrid work schedule Comprehensive medical and dental coverage 401(k) with employee contributions Paid time off and holidays Bonus opportunities Join Us in Supporting K-12 School Districts Throughout California If you are interested in supporting K-12 school districts and navigating the School Facility Program, we would love to hear from you.
