Job Description

- Partner with external real estate brokers to negotiate new facility leases in support of network growth. Manage lease renewals
- Manage the renewal process for existing facility leases, ensuring competitive terms and continuity of operations across the portfolio. Maintain portfolio oversight
- Track key lease dates, terms, and obligations across the ~30 facility portfolio to proactively drive renewal, renegotiation, and expansion decisions. Site Selection Lead site selection projects
- Work closely with real estate brokers to identify, evaluate, and secure new locations that meet operational, customer, and network requirements as Buske opens new facilities. Evaluate site criteria
- Assess prospective sites against criteria such as labor availability, transportation access, customer proximity, and facility specifications. Coordinate cross-functionally
- Partner with operations, sales, and finance stakeholders to align new location decisions with broader business and customer requirements. Facility Maintenance & Capital Projects Manage facility maintenance
- Work closely with the operations leadership team to manage ongoing facility maintenance across the portfolio, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Oversee capital projects
- Identify, scope, and oversee capital improvement projects that maintain and enhance the quality of the real estate portfolio. Manage spend
- Establish and monitor maintenance and capital spend to balance facility quality with cost efficiency. Support operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement in facility condition and reliability to support uninterrupted service to Buske's customers and operations teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact between operations leadership, external real estate brokers and landlord property managers on all facility-related matters. Report to leadership
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on portfolio status, lease activity, site selection progress, and capital project status. Coordinate with finance
- Coordinate with finance and accounting on real estate-related budgeting and expenditures.
