Job Description

Position Overview This Territory Facilities Specialist is responsible for the management and execution of maintenance and repairs in their assigned stores. The Facilities Territory Specialist (FTS) will work closely with the Facilities Manager and the Director of Facilities to ensure that all work is performed in the stores for which they have ownership, as contracted and within budget parameters. The FTS will manage vendor relationships and explore opportunities to engage new vendors. The FTS will utilize existing software program (Service Channel), for dispatching work orders, scheduling, tracking, reporting and updating progress reports and cost tracking. The FTS will continually work to enhance service delivery for stores in an effort to reduce expense and improve efficiencies. The FTS will continuously explore cost saving measures and evaluate new methods and ideas for delivering profit improvement contributions (PIC) while ensuring a positive customer and associate experience. A Day In The Life Monitor and prioritize incoming repair requests for your area of accountability and follow up with vendors to ensure service is completed timely. Collaborate with Burlington Facilities associates to support the field/stores. Review repair proposals provided by vendors to ensure pricing is competitive, monitor vendor performance and advise your manager of any issues. Ensure stores receive frequent communications for repairs taking more than one visit. Participate in training new associates. Review work order reports from Service Channel and act on aging repair requests. Provide support for the stores and vendors after hours and on weekends during your scheduled time on the after-hours calendar. Resolve vendor issues for the stores and proactively follow up with vendors/account managers to resolve issues. Work with associates outside the department to support the stores.
You'll Come With Education:
High School Degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree a plus.
Experience:
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years' facilities maintenance experience, 3 years of project management experience. Must possess in-depth project management skills The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Facilities software (Service Channel) and Oracle financial programs knowledge a plus Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and open tickets simultaneously
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization, and follow up. Exceptional time management, prioritization, organizational, and ability to manage competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency. Proven track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external partners. Must be able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, proactively plan follow up communication and resolve issues and remove obstacles that may come up between stores and vendors.
