My highly respected client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the safety, maintenance, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This critical leadership role ensures all physical assets—including buildings, grounds, and equipment—are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.   • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and enforce health & safety programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulations
  • Conduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and inspection records
  • Develop and preventive maintenance programs for machinery and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Plan and oversee repairs, upgrades, and facility improvements with minimal production disruption
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality
  • Procure parts, supplies, and equipment to support facility operations
  • Maintain and update emergency response plans and coordinate incident response
  • Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to safety and performance standards
  • Deliver safety training and promote proper PPE usage
  • Foster a strong safety-first culture through communication and leadership
  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA standards and environmental regulations
  • Proven success in safety compliance and preventive maintenance programs
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
Preferred:
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field
