Assistant Venue Manager & Wedding Director (AVM) This position reports directly to the Director of Events and works closely with the Director of Operations & Facilities. Company Overview:

The Tin Roof Farms (TRF) team maintains a manicured 75-acre property and multiple facilities that are available to our clients. Assistant Venue Manager & Wedding Director (One Position) The Assistant Venue Manager(AVM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing exceptional guest experiences while overseeing completion of daily activities; i.e., tours, meetings, cleanings, maintenance requests, landscaping, etc. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage staff, coordinate events, and maintain high standards of service. The AVM will work closely with the team to create an inviting atmosphere for guests and ensure all operational aspects run efficiently. Once trained, the AVM serves as one of the lead wedding directors. PAID BONUSES
are provided to the lead wedding director and assistant wedding director for the completion of successful wedding days. This is an hourly full-time position that requires working late nights and weekends. The position works on-site, but may have the opportunity to grow into a hybrid work schedule in the future. Typically, the AVM has Sundays & Mondays off. The average work week is Tuesday-Saturday. However, this can vary based on venue needs, such as staffing Sunday events. Exact daily hours vary based on tours, planning meetings, and other daily tasks. This is a Full-time position averaging 32-40+ hours per week. The AVM needs to be prepared to work most Fridays and Saturdays, though there is a company goal to provide the AVM at least one Saturday off each month when possible. Weekends, long days, & late nights are required for employment at Tin Roof Farms. Duties :
Plan weddings and other events with TRF clients. Perform Day of Directing Services for brides. Oversee daily operations of the venue, ensuring all services and facilities meet quality standards. Manage and supervise staff, including training and scheduling. Manage inventory; i.e., "Decor Room", cleaning supplies, etc. Lead team members to operate at their optimal performance. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Coordinate events and activities, ensuring all logistical details are handled effectively. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records as required. Prepare reports on venue operations, including attendance, revenue, and feedback for management review. Collaborate with the Directors and other managers to implement policies and procedures that enhance guest services. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue to create a welcoming environment. Skills :
Proficient writing skills; proper grammar, professional communication, email etiquette, text message etiquette, etc. Social Media Management Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proven leadership abilities to effectively manage a diverse team. Proficient in cash handling procedures to ensure financial accuracy. Excellent shift management skills to coordinate staff schedules and event logistics. Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Previous experience in a wedding venue, event hall, sports arena, restaurant, or other hospitality and tourism setting is preferred. Software:
