Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming in hallways and office spaces. Clean break room/lunch room to include: tables, counters, microwaves, refrigerators and vending machines. Clean restrooms and locker rooms and fill appropriate dispensers. If applicable, clean water fountains and eye wash areas. Clean company Fitness Center to include: wiping down equipment and surface area, filling cup dispensers, vacuuming, moping and insuring antibacterial wipes are available. Empty trash and garbage containers in break/lunch rooms and various other locations. Pick up trash around the building. Maintains building and surrounding area performing minor and routine maintenance. Familiar with facilities maintenance such as painting, carpentry, caring for different building materials, side walk care (shoveling and spreading ice melt as needed). Periodically wash windows and other related maintenance activities as needed (change air filters and light bulbs). Organize and order supplies and keep materials neat and organized. Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Additional duties may be assigned as need.
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
High School Diploma or GED. 3+ year related experience. Ability to interpret documents, operating manual and follow procedures. Ability to communicate verbally with co-workers in a productive manner. Ability to use tools in a safe and proper manner
Physical Requirements:
Position could involve standing on your feet for 8+ hours a day; working in temperatures of 90+ degrees during a scheduled workday (during seasonal changes in weather); and, at times, lifting weights of up to 45 pounds. Position requires a high level of energy and regular consistent attendance. Position could involve working indoors and outdoors with exposure to mechanical/moving parts hazards, dust, dirt, odors and irritants. Also, exposure to high noise levels. Position could involve kneeling, lifting, crouching, bending, pulling, pushing, and twisting the upper body.
