This role is vital in ensuring that all building systems, safety protocols, and maintenance activities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As a Facility Manager, you will lead a team of facility associates, coordinate complex projects, and implement innovative solutions to optimize facility performance. Your leadership will directly contribute to creating a safe, productive, and sustainable environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, safety, security, and environmental compliance. Supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, upgrades, and new installations involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and high/low voltage systems. Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and infrastructure. Lead facility improvement projects from planning through execution while adhering to safety standards and budget constraints. Ensure compliance with industry regulations related to electrical systems, industrial maintenance, high voltage/low voltage wiring, and safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools. Foster a culture of safety awareness among staff through training on mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and emergency procedures. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams. Extensive knowledge of facilities management practices across manufacturing or industrial environments. Technical expertise in electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical systems such as HVAC units. Familiarity with schematics reading, troubleshooting using ohmmeters, schematics interpretation, and industrial automation controls like PLCs. Project management skills to oversee upgrades or new installations efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
