Description Assists in managing the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Supports the creation, review, and maintenance of documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers. Implements quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. Conducts regular site walks and assists in the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects. Identifies gaps in risk identification and mitigation and recommends standard corrective actions. Serves as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers. Assists in the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and performance and construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications. Assists in overseeing the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Construction Project Management-Project Planning and Execution:
  • Assists in managing the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Supports in developing and maintaining project schedules, working closely with colocation providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Assists in creating and managing project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Supports the creation, review, and maintenance of documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers, ensuring standards are upheld, documents are managed effectively, and materials are suitable for their intended purpose.
Construction Project Management-Project Integration and Quality Assurance:
  • Implements and oversees quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Assists in the coordination and integration of tenant fit out projects by following established procedures and providing support during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Conducts regular site walks to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality throughout the life of the project.
  • Assists in the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet design specifications.
Risk and Problem Management:
  • Evaluates the risk profiles associated with timely project delivery.
  • Identifies gaps in risk identification and mitigation and recommends standard corrective actions.
  • Implements mitigation strategies for major construction project risks to ensure project success.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Develops and maintains key relationships to effectively support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and performance.
Design Coordination and Improvement:
  • Collaborates with design teams to ensure that construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications.
  • Provides ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.
  • Assists in overseeing the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following: 1. Paid time off:
Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 9. 11 paid holidays 10.
Paid sick leave:
72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours. 11. Paid parental leave 12.
