Full Job Description Position Summary :
Develops, implements and maintains all security, physical asset protection, loss prevention, access controls, investigations, and facility management programs for high value asset operations. Ensures protection of company assets, customer products, information, employees, and facilities from theft, fraud, damage, and unauthorized access.
Essential Responsibilities :
Establishes physical security standards. Monitors and analyzes security incidents, inventory discrepancies, shrinkage trends, and loss events. Leads investigations related to theft, fraud, security policy violations, security misconduct and security breaches. Performs routine unannounced security related audits. Develops and enforces chain of custody control procedures, stockroom security procedures, staging area procedures and outbound shipping processes. Manages all electronic security systems. Manages Contract Security Guards, establishes post orders and all processes related to 3rd party security vendors. Manages all facility related needs including repairs, preventative maintenance, vendor management, property management and maintenance staff. Maintains compliance and all relationships with OSHA, fire safety, life safety and all federal and state regulators.
Skills and Specifications Required:
Completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent Five to seven years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as client requirements, work instructions, and procedures. Ability to work with and be proficient with Microsoft 365 software and various other office equipment. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to speak effectively and professionally before customers, vendors, supervisors, and employees of the organization. Abilit to write technical reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, interest, and percentages. Ability to exercise tact, judgement, persuasiveness, and diplomacy with internal and external customers. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies. Ability to multi-task and set priorities. Experience managing security programs involving high value assets. Experience managing 3rd party security systems and vendors. Experience with creating and administering asset protection and loss prevention methodologies.
