Job Summary and Qualifications Director of Facilities plans organizes, directs and controls the activities of the Engineering Department to provide services repair and maintenance necessary to insure the safe and efficient operation of the 7 different facilities that compose Corpus Christi Medical Center. Maintain a comfortable physical environment for patient, employees, medical staff and their public, in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Corpus Christi Medical Center, the Texas Department of Health, JCAHO and other local community and governmental agencies. Supports customer first initiatives. The Director of Facilities will be familiar with the mission, vision, and value statements of the facility. The Director of Facilities effectively performs the leadership, managerial, environment of care/infection control, quality improvement and departmental responsibilities.What qualifications you will need:
Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree preferred Three to five years' experience in hospital environment and experience on personal computers using spreadsheets and word processing and/or a combination of education and experience. is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. Northwest Regional/Northwest Behavior Health Center provides emergency medical services, laboratory, imaging services and outpatient behavioral health services. Bayview Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient short-term treatment for psychiatric patients ages 12 years and older, as well as substance abuse treatment. Northshore Emergency Center is a full-service 24-7 emergency department in Portland that offers outpatient laboratory, imaging and occupational services. Radiation Oncology offers advanced technology for treating cancer with the latest and most specific radiation therapies available.
