Job Description

Overview The Senior Marina Specialist patrols for the safety and security of all property and guests of the Corpus Christi Marina complex. Essential functions of the position include assisting Marina customers and guests with boat slip assignments, payments information, docking, and will serve as a shift supervisor. Additional duties include the daily maintenance of facilities, vehicles, marina docks, and ensure all safety requirements and procedures are being followed. Responsibilities Provides administrative support by assisting with administrative tasks including collecting payments, carrying out lease agreements, taking phone calls, generating work orders, and completing incident reports and daily log shifts Ensures dockhand I's and II's finish assigned jobs for each shift Maintains marina facilities, docks, and equipment including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and lubrication performed during patrols of the Marina Examines all facilities in the marina complex for safety and maintenance concerns, patrol and examine all docks and boars for safety and maintenance concerns Checks all marina equipment is properly put away and secured for each shift Boundaries include two T heads, Lawrence and Peoples, and one L Heaed, Coopers Alley and everything between the seawall and he rock breakwater from McGee beach to the CC Ship Channel Includes but not limited to three boater facilities, fourteen floating docks, the haul out facility, boat ramp, and dry storage lot Checks all facilities, docks, vessels, for safety or maintenance concerns throughout the shift Position Type and Typical Hours of Work

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Five (5) years of experience required Certifications, Licenses or other requirements Required
  • A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire Required within Six (6) months of Hire
  • CPR/First Aid within 6 months of hiring Employment Testing Employment is contingent on passing any post-offer pre-employment screening as listed below:
