Facility Manager El Paso, TX 79901 From $21 an hour - Full-time From $21 an hour - Full-time About Logistical Data Services Logistical Data Services delivers a new, technology-driven option for our industry. Our inspection and related platforms are customized and created to meet the specific needs of our individual customers. We provide software solutions including new vehicle inspections, claims processing, damage-in-transit reporting, major damage reporting, inventory management, and terminal management services for Railroads, OEMs, Marine, and Trucking customers. Position Summary - Manager Logistical Data Services is seeking a driven and dependable leader responsible for managing daily operations and overseeing inspection teams. The Manager is responsible for all day-to-day tasks, including scheduling personnel, supervising operations, maintaining customer communication, and ensuring high-quality vehicle inspections are completed accurately and on time. As a Logistical Data Services Manager, you will lead a team responsible for performing quality inspections on new vehicles. Inspections are performed in rail yard environments and require the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform repetitive physical tasks. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day inspection operations Schedule employees and maintain staffing coverage Supervise and lead inspection teams to ensure quality performance Ensure inspections are completed accurately and efficiently Maintain professional communication with customers and internal leadership Respond to emails and complete required reports in a timely manner Monitor productivity and address performance issues as needed Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company procedures Perform inspections when operationally required Travel as required for training and operational needs Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position operates in a rail yard environment and requires: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Walking for extended periods Climbing ladders Bending, kneeling, and reaching Performing repetitive physical tasks Maintaining awareness of surroundings in an industrial environment Training Requirements Initial training will require 1-2 weeks of travel . Travel arrangements will be coordinated by the company. Work Schedule Hours are typically Monday through Friday Flexibility is required, including occasional weekends, extended hours, or schedule adjustments based on operational needs Minimum Qualifications All applicants must: Be 18 years of age or older Possess a valid state-issued driver's license Have reliable transportation Have a high school diploma or equivalent Possess basic computer skills Be able to perform required physical tasks Demonstrate leadership and team management ability Be able to pass a background check Be able to pass a drug screening Drug Testing and Background Requirements Employment with Logistical Data Services is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Drug testing is conducted in accordance with federal drug testing standards, including applicable federal regulations regarding marijuana. Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidates will demonstrate: Strong communication skills Attention to detail Ability to direct and lead personnel Effective time management skills Strong problem-solving ability Ability to perform physical tasks as required Prior leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not required) Experience in rail yard, logistics, automotive inspection, or industrial environments (preferred) Benefits Eligible employees may receive: Health Insurance 401(k)
