About You:
POSITION SUMMARY
Directs the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines. The Executive Director/Administrator has the authority to perform his/her essential duties and responsibilities duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing facility Ensures delivery of quality skilled nursing and therapy services to residents Employs and supervises competent and qualified department managers Delegates appropriate operational responsibility for delivery of services and performance of administrative requirements to department managers Develops and implements facility policies and procedures Makes reports/recommendations to the facility's governing body Performs regular rounds and inspections of the facility Participates in facility surveys (inspections) performed by government agencies and develops any necessary plans of correction for deficiencies Maintains professional relationships with facility personnel, residents and their family members Engages in positive community relations that serve the best interest of the facility Serves on facility committees (e.g., Infection Control, Quality Assurance & Assessment) Attends market and cluster meetings and is an active partner within the facility's market and clusterQUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/orExperience:
A Bachelor's Degree may be required depending on state regulations. A degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, a Therapy Discipline or other health care- related degree is preferred but not required.
