Up to $120,000 annually + 15% performance-based bonus

Our client are a locally owned, academic health system dedicated to serving San Antonio with excellence, compassion, and innovation. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead a high-profile facilities operation. This role will be based in San Antonio, TX with regular presence required on site. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and demonstrated experience managing engineering and maintenance teams in a corporate or campus-style environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of all building systems across a multi-facility corporate campus Manage a union workforce with a strong understanding of labor contracts, grievance procedures, and workforce scheduling Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and corporate operational policies Drive cost efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and capital improvement planning Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring service delivery excellence Collaborate with stakeholders on space planning, business continuity, and special projects Track and report on KPIs, maintenance schedules, and budget performance to senior leadership Lead by example in fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of progressive facilities management experience in a large commercial or healthcare setting Technical degree (engineering, facilities management, or similar) or equivalent work experience Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls Experienced working with the Joint Commission Financial acumen with experience managing operational and capital budgets Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills CMMS and building automation systems (BAS) proficiency preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
